Gabriel M. Cohen

Gabriel M. Cohen, an Argentine native, immigrated to the United States at the age of 9, gaining early insight into the challenges that vulnerable populations face within the legal system, particularly the Latin-American community.

After completing high school in New York City, Gabriel pursued his undergraduate degree while simultaneously volunteering with the New York City Police Department’s Traffic Task Force as an auxiliary police officer.

Motivated by his upbringing, Gabriel relocated to Southern California in 2014 to pursue a law enforcement career. Throughout his tenure in the police department, Gabriel undertook diverse assignments ranging from patrol duties to specialized units and coveted positions.

His proficiency in vehicular accident investigations and mastery of the California Vehicle Code soon attracted the attention of personal injury attorneys seeking his counsel and guidance.

A pivotal moment occurred when Gabriel was consulted by a well-known personal injury lawyer, on a complex wrongful death accident. Recognizing his unique ability to provide invaluable insights, Gabriel realized his calling as a personal injury attorney, equipped with unparalleled expertise and passion for justice.

While maintaining a full-time law enforcement role, Gabriel pursued his legal education in the evenings. Graduating from law school in 2022 with accolades across various subjects, and swiftly gaining admission to the California BAR that same year.

In 2024, Gabriel fulfilled his vision by establishing his own personal injury law firm, The Cohen Law, APC.
